Art 1 Final

the first thing we had to do for the print was find an animal and sketch it. then we had to trace the sketch onto lanoleum. we then had to use the cutting tools to shape  the animal out of the lenolium. we then took paint and rolled it on the lenolium. i liked the project  because it had alot of freedom for what we could do. i made a rainbow print that my teacher didnt like even though it was obviously the best one. anyway it was alot of fun

using photoshop was alot of fun. the first project was the harder of the two for me. i have never used it so i had to get use to it. my second one though, i was able to make it look somewhat relistic. the brun tool helped me becasue it made it look round. the pancakes i wasnt able to get the mouth the right color.

i really enjoyed doing this project because the whole project, i had to do everything by myself and change things how i wanted. i felt it was sort of a free project becasue of how much freedom we had. i learned how to judge and change my  drawings on my own, and hoow to use spray paint. teh first thing we had to do in the project was to take a picture and break it down into simple shapes on photoshop. then we had to color each shape differently so they would stand out. next we projected the image and traced each shape. we then cut out the shapes using exacto knifes. finally we spray painted each shape on cardboard and let it dry between each shape.befor we spray painted, we had to paint the back round on the card board. i did mine orange becasue it allowed me to not have to do another stencil.my eyes were really successful because they didnt have alot going on around them.

My shoe drawing improved because i could draw the shoe without having to constantly look back at the shoe. The practice with contaure line drawings helped me because i wasnt good at drawing without looking at the shape, but now i have improved. All my drawings have improved whether or not it is a contoure drawing or just a free drawing. The hardest part for me was not picking up the pen because i wanted to go back to a spot i missed but i couldn't. I also didnt like not being able to look at the shape, so i didnt like anything about contoure line drawings.

There was alot of differences between using the oil pastles and the layers pro app. I personally liked using the oil pastles because i felt like i had more controll and it was easier for me to blend the colors together. The two ways of drawing values were similar because you could blend the colors together to add value. I was finally able to blend the colors on the app because the app allowed you to smear the colors together. The technology allows you to smear the colors without it being messy, and you can keep all your art in one place online.
